BNI has over 5,000 chapters and over 103,000 members in nearly 40 countries.

Business Network Int'l Malaysia, BNI Malaysia, is affiliated with the world's largest business networking and referral organization.

Last year members, in Malaysia,  passed over  5 million referrals which translated to RM7 billion worth of business. BNI now meets in various locations throughout Malaysia - Penang, Klang Valley, Melaka and Johor.

Below are two presentations that I gave whilst visiting the John O'Gount BNI Chapter in Kenilworth, United Kingdom in April/May 2008. I was honoured to be asked to present the NEC session for two successive weeks.

The first presentation focuses on the importance of looking at Contact Sphere professions when inviting visitors to a BNI chapter. If the visitor is in one or more member's Contact Sphere then they have 'interested' parties to talk to during Open Networking and will see the opportunity to give and receive referrals faster. Once a visitor joins as a member then quality referrals should start flowing faster.
